MACON LOUNGERS
This started life as a design riff off of a Westport Chair - the precursor to the Adirondack Chair. I was asked to build an Adirondack, but I don't like replicating things, generally. So I took its predecessor and modified it to add the curved back and v vertical rails. The result? A surprisingly comfortable chair.
All our chairs are extremely comfortable. Not just in a "wow, this feels comfy" way, but in a "Wow! This is most comfortable chair I have ever sat in". "My back conforms to the back of the chair and I feel like I am in perfect alignment".
These chairs are literally where I go when my back is acting up and I can no longer stand. When I call my chiropractor, he says, "Go sit in that chair of yours and then come see me"...
